2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport Review

April 1, 2010 - Live Floor 2010 New York Auto Show, Suzuki sets out a new sport version of the Suzuki Kizashi 2011. Almost perfect combination of design, performance and value of all do Kizashi robust, and economical car for anyone. And in addition to the sports package, we believe that Dave Arbogast bit 'of style and additional benefits make Kizashi more attractive.

Sport package includes a new front lower lip and extended, chrome surround and honeycomb grille blacked adds. Parties make a similar threshold with extensions and chrome strip show and receives a simple decklid spoiler. Inside, there is a sports steering wheel and contrast stitching throughout the cabin. All of this is the property of the suspension is sure to make Kizashi fun, attractive car.

Unfortunately, we are disappointed that Suzuki has no plans to add a V6 or a hybrid version of the Kizashi platform in the near future. This was a bit 'expected after General Motors and Suzuki separated, and V6 power plant is likely to come from GM. Prices are not announced until Kizashi Sport will go on sale in July.

We have always left impressed by the taut body control and precise handling presented by Suzuki Kizashi mid-size sedan, but a new model - the 2011 Sport Kizashi - promises a driving experience even more.

Although presented as a single model, Kizashi Sport is more along the lines of a set of options available on the upper levels Kizashi two linings. Available in both sedan and GTS SLS, your sports team adds a band slightly revised front strut revised lists, additional chrome, and a rear spoiler. Unique 18-inch wheels are two pounds lighter than before, and engineers Kizashi features a revised suspension tuning, which lowers the ride height by 10 mm.

The suspension changes, it seems, is the measure of the modernization of the mechanical systems for the gifted Kizashi Sport. The power always comes with a 2.4-liter DOHC I-4, which is rated at 185 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. A six-speed manual transmission is standard but a continuously variable transmission is optional (and mandatory in all-wheel drive is ordered). Choose CVT reduces engine power to 180 horses.

Inside Kizashi Sport receives some unique features, including revision of the front sport seats with perforated leather on the steering wheel. Buyers must choose the black leather seats, contrasting stitching added to the shift boot and parking brake boot and the seats themselves.

Suzuki has not yet determined the price of the model, but we expect to hit the sport to carry a modest price increase of $ 23.234 and $ 25.134 base price of the GTS and SLS, respectively. Look for additional information when the cars arrive at retailers nationwide in August 2010.
